Conquering Your Smartphone

What is it?

​

Students are encouraged to bring their own phone to class and participate in classes that are both lecture style and hands-on learning. This class covers Smartphone Basics, Phone Plan Choices, Cell Phone Safety and What Can My Phone Do? Learners will start by learning about the different types of smartphones and their standard functions. They will also be given the information required to enable good decision making in regards to cell phone service providers, plan choices, contracts and cell phone safety. By the end of the course they should be able to use their phone to its full potential, know how to keep it running smoothly and feel confident and aware of the things to consider when making future smartphone decisions.

 

When is it happening?

 

Mondays and Wednesdays 1:00-3:00pm, April 20th through May 16th located online OR in-person at Agilec in Bracebridge

OR

Wednesdays & Fridays 9:30-11:30pm, November 9th through December 2nd located online OR in-person at the Gravenhurst YMCA
