Employment Service Training Supports 

 

  • Financial training supports may be available to employers who provide job placement opportunities to individuals who are clients assisted through a local Employment Service Provider 

 

  • Clients and Employers must qualify for financial training supports prior to Employers hiring an individual to start working 

 

  • The amount of the incentive is up to a maximum of $8,000/individual.  The $8,000 is made up of a maximum of $6,000 for training incentives for all Employment Service assisted clients and an additional $2,000 for the Apprenticeship Employer Signing Bonus, if applicable

Canada Ontario Job Grant (COJG)  

 

  • Canada-Ontario Job Grant can be utilized for existing employees and/or new hires to a company with funding from $10,000 per employee up to $15,000 for new hires 
     

  • Companies can qualify for the Canada-Ontario Job Grant covering 50 to 100% of the cost of the training provided by an approved training institution
